At Notre Dame, annual events define your dorm on campus. Pasquerilla East recognizes this and has learned how to make events both awesome and incredibly memorable. These traditions are more than just about having fun - they are fantastic ways to show PE’s pride and strong sense of community.
Silent Night, Silent Auction (SNSA)
SNSA (pronounced "Snaz-za") is PE’s Christmas Extravaganza! It is a silent auction where we auction off awesome baskets donated by PE girls, people on campus, and the South Bend Community. We also auction off services such as amazing baking skills, piano lessons, or dinner dates! Not only is it a silent auction, but a Christmas celebration! We have cookie decorating, gingerbread house making, ornament decorating, pictures with Santa, and campus a capella and humor groups performing! All of the proceeds go to PE's signature charity, Hannah's House! This event usually takes place during the first week of December in the Lafourtune Ballroom, and is open to everyone, from students, to faculty and staff and their families! Come celebrate the holidays with PE and join us at SNSA!
So You Think You Can Sync? Lip Sync Battle
Have you ever seen Jimmy Fallon's lip sync battles or Lip Sync Battle on Spike? Well, that's the idea! PE hosts their own version in the spring at Washington Hall, featuring groups, solo acts, Rectors, and students. In addition to being one of the funniest events on campus, all of the proceeds of the event go to a charity of PE's choice. Love the spotlight? Look out for try outs in December!
Can you Take the Heat?
Can You Take the Heat is our annual spicy BWW wing eating contest in honor of PE being the hottest dorm on campus! It is held during Antostal, a campus-wide spring celebration at the end of spring semester. Contestants go through intense rounds of speed eating the spiciest wings BWW has to offer while bystanders can enjoy free wings on the sidelines.
